Province wise tourist destination selected by Federal Government of Nepal are:
Province 1: Sandakpur Ilam
Attraction: the highest peak in Ilam District, Nepal and West Bengal, India. It is the highest point of the Singalila Ridge in Darjeeling district on the West Bengal-Nepal border. The peak is located at the Sandakpur Rural Municipality, Nepal and the edge of the Singalila National Park, India. Four of the highest peaks in the world; Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhoste and Makalu can be seen from its summit. It also affords a pristine view of the entire Kanchenjunga Range.
Province 2: Dhanusha Dham, Dhanusha
Attraction: the pilgrimage site where consort of Lord Ram, Sita was born. It is also known as Janakpur and Mithila Kshetra, City of religious and cultural significance. Janaki Temple, Janaki sanctuary, the Ram Mandir, Vivaha Mandap, Janak Mandir, Laxman temple and additionally the dozens of sacred Sagars (Ponds); Dhanush Sagar, Ganga Sagar, and Parshuram Kunda are some of them.
Province 3: Indrasarowar Khulekhani Makawanpur
