Satyawati Rural Municipality is one of the local levels established under Article 295 of the Constitution of Nepal. Satyawati Rural Municipality is located in Lumbini Province, has historical, religious, cultural and geographical significance. The then village development committees of the combination of Thulo Lumpek, Aslewa, Limgha, Hansara, Johang, Juniya and Bharse. The Rural Municipality is divided into 8 wards. It has an area of 115.92 sq km and a population of 23,807. Satyawati Rural Municipality is the largest and most populous Rural Municipality of the Gulmi district.
