The Tourism Board of Nepal has signed an agreement with India's TAI to promote tourism

Nepal Tourism Board and Travel Agents Association of India (TAI) have signed an agreement to cooperate in tourism promotion. During a program held in New Delhi on Friday, the agreement was signed by the Executive Chief of the Nepal Tourism Board, Dr. Dhananjay Regmi and  president of the Travel Agents Association of India (TAI), Jyoti Mayal.

According to the agreement, the board and TAI will cooperate in various tourism promotion programs such as events, road shows, webinars and invite national and regional programs, travel marts to be organized in both the countries. "As India is Nepal's major tourism resource market, this agreement will help in the promotion of tourism in Nepal", Dr. Dhananjay Regmi said.

He said that exchanging good practices of tourism promotion in each other's country would also help in the promotion of tourism in both the countries.
